FIBER 10 is a large-scale, carrier-class network created by the Region 10 ESC Fiber Network Consortium, allowing member districts to access high-speed, high-bandwidth connectivity services over a new, dedicated, and cost-effective fiber network. 

The Consortium consists of Region 10 ESC, school districts, public/private and charter schools in our region. This collaborative effort has given us a competitive price advantage as well as E-Rate and special construction discounts from USAC and the TEA. Through FIBER 10, districts can also partner with one another in many different ways, including sharing of services, disaster recovery, and more.
